Clint’s Cattle Company, founded in 2021 and proudly rooted in Bedford County, Virginia, specializes in raising premium Akaushi (Ah-ka-OO-shi) cattle. We supply some of Virginia’s top farm-to-table restaurants as well as customers who want exceptional beef delivered directly from the farm.

Our cattle are pasture-raised, hormone-free, and ethically cared for, with a nutrient-rich diet that includes spent grain sourced from local craft brewers.

Our Cattle

Raising great cattle takes time and careful breeding. We focus on two things that matter most in our herd: good mothers and calm, easy-going animals. We start with strong Black Angus or Gelbvieh cows and cross them with Akaushi bulls to produce healthy, well-rounded calves.

 

Our goal is to raise calves that grow well with very little help, using proven bulls with reliable traits to make sure we’re always improving the herd.
